Letters to the Editor
The Watchman welcomes opinion submissions from local residents, or from those with connections to the county. Most submissions will be published IF they deal with a public issue, make sense, and are not so extreme as to be offensive to the average reader. Letters will not be published if they deal with a private grievance rather than a public one, if they appear discriminatory, or if the newspaper’s management feels their publication will create more harm than good for the community. Final decisions on publication of letters (as with any other submissions to the newspaper) are at the complete discretion of the management.
